I know that sometimes I can be really hard on myself. It’s just how I have always been. My parents never had to get on to me about my grades because if I got a B, I was devastated. I’ve always worked as hard as I could to achieve all of my goals.

The biggest thing I am proud of is my promotion to a District Leader in my job. Being a female in a career that is predominately male driven, can be challenging, to say the least. Sometimes you have to work just a little harder to earn the respect of the people you work for and the people that work for you. I am proud to say that I am the only female district leader in the state. Again, I don’t brag on myself, hardly ever, but this, this is something I am proud of.
